I forgot to mention...
So my father wakes me up this morning saying we're going to the city to visit my step-mom's mother and to do a bit of shopping. So we go to the city and do all those things, but then I realized that we were going to my step-mom's father's place for dinner, where her entire family will be also. I despise her family, they are easily the most boring and awkward family known to man. And I have to sit through a dinner with them, against my will. Good times. I'm very excited to talk about the colors of the walls and to make mundane comments on the mediocre food. Love it.

Well, this is awkward...
Definitely thought summer would be a bit more exciting. Now that I'm at my dad's, even with driver's license in hand, I have shit all to do. Could call up my friends, but almost afraid to. I tried texting my guy friend, Ian, but no reply. Awesome. I've hung out with Ainsley too much and I feel like I'm latching on to her. I will definitely not call my friend Emma, as she is so two faced and irritating it's all I can do not to rip my eyes out when putting up with her. Vivid, I know. But necessary. Not to mention my father and step mother obvious have an aversion to leaving the house, or going on any type of outing. You'd think this wouldn't matter since I can drive myself places but I like in the smallest good for nothing town in all of Canada. Oh well, better this than school. Things will look up; they have to.

Man, genetics are a bitch
As much as I love my brother, Daniel, it's very hard to deal with his opinions sometimes. I swear of he talks about how much he hates the idea of marriage and its commitment one more time, I am going to snap. It's like listening to the more cynical person that ever lived, but yet he's proud of it. God, it's depressing. Like it sure is fun for someone to point out all the problems about the one thing I am so longing for; a commitment. Such a great encouragement.

New and Improved..I think
I've realized how dysfunctional my life has been for the last two years, and it leaves me in shambles. And then it hit me, I need time to remake myself. I need to let go of all of the stupid superficial problems gripping at my ankles, shackling my feet to the cement blocks pulling me down into the waters of the world that is high school. So that's why I'm writing. I know no one will ever see this...at least I hope. All I know is that I need a change, whether in my love life or in how I view myself. Not to sound overly cliché, it's time for change. So here's hoping.
